Brand Strategy
Working in marketing, brand strategy has quickly become one of my passions. I enjoy the challenge to ensure the voice, look, and feel all align with a certain brand identity. Below are examples of how I implemented brand strategy for KidWorks, a nonprofit in Southern California.
To ensure brand compliance across KidWorks, I built out an org-wide Canva account with preset designs, logos, and brand kits. I presented the guide to all staff and trained each team member on KidWorks’ Marketing strategy.
I built out a social media brand guide to allow greater creative freedom while maintaining a consistent look. I then met with each social media lead to brainstorm the purpose and goals for each of the IG accounts and opportunities for collaboration across our platforms.
Event Branding
While working for KidWorks, I developed various forms of marketing collateral for three major fundraising events that each had a specific brand identity. Below are examples of how I designed with a brand in mind.
Pickleball for a Purpose
A pickleball fundraiser in Newport Beach.
Cars & Cocktails
A fundraiser for car enthusiasts & a corporate audience.
Rosé on the Bay
An evening fundraiser for KidWorks Women by the Newport Bay.
My Wedding Brand
Because I think even your personal life should look & feel good :) - all personally designed for my wedding day
Simply for fun, I created a “logo” for my wedding. The two interwining flowers, representing my husband’s and my birth flowers, showed up in almost every detail of our wedding.
During the “vision” stage of wedding planning, I designed a lookbook for our wedding. This helped us think through the colors and style of flowers, decor, and wedding party attire, as well as the foods and unique details we wanted to highlight throughout the day. The two slides are snippets of the below lookbook and the photo is just one glimpse into how my design came alive.
To honor my husband’s Mexican culture, one unique detail of our wedding featured a table seating chart made entirely of Lotería cards.
